I went to Rossman Altona at around 6 or 7 PM and bought some products. The cashier on cash-machine 04 was impolite and unfriendly. He didn't even say 'Hello', 'bye' and 'Thank you'.
Besides there was a client in front of me who bought something heavy, it got stuck on the rolling matt. The cashier looked at me like am obliged to move it though I am a girl. I was expecting that he would do it since it is heavy and he could stand and move it but he looked at me as if i am an idiot without even asking politely if i could move it. Then he said 'move it, i cannot reach it'.
After the client paid her articles, he didn't even greet me, no saying 'thank you' and 'bye'. I don't mind moving the article at all, but he could greet me and asked me politely without staring at me! Is it because I look foreigner? He greeted the next client after me.
After I went to another shop, where the lady said 'hello', 'thank you' and have a nice evening. It is important to be nice with clients that's how we come back.
Rossman should educate their staffs to be polite with all the clients independent on their looks. It is too formal, there should be warm relations, make you feel welcome and happy. They should smile and not business is business! A client might be having a hard time in life and going out to feel better. It is just a few things which makes our society better.

I must say, my experiences with this company are really others. When I have bought there my products, in the past and nowadays, the personal were and is always very polite to me and my wife. I can really not unterstand this. May be, this was an exception?

I can confirm that.
This is not usual in Germany. Mostly we are very polite to foreigners. They are welcome in our land, because everyone of us ist somewhere always a foreigner.
Please try another shop, normally the salesmanagers are very very friendly to all foreigners. Germany is a foreigner-friendly state. And the Germans are a little bit curious, but that is their charakter. They are not bad people.
I also find, that is not very friendly to the client. Clients are king. By us in America. Not in Germany?
